IT, Voice and Data Systems
Our IT and phone system is designed to provide you with state of the art, fast secure communication links between you, your customers, partners and colleagues.
This is how we achieve this standard as part of the serviced office package:
Telephones
As part of the serviced office package you pay no line rental and get a multi-line telephone handset which has facilities such as speed dial programming, hold, mute, transfer, conference, call forwarding & advisory messages.
- Each desk has a DDI phone number so if required people can contact you directly at your desk via an 0113 number.
- Each phone has Individual voicemail box so you do not miss any calls.
- Incoming calls can be answered in your company name by one of our friendly front of house reception staff
- Any of your phone numbers can be routed to any phone, group, queue or voicemail.
- The external hot-desking system enables you to use your direct dial phone number but answer the call on your mobile, at home or in another office. The call can still be transferred to someone else in the office or back to reception and your voicemail.
- Hot desking allows you to control when you are available, and if you miss a call, it can be answered by out front of house staff or a colleague. (Additional set up fee’s apply to hot desking service)
The Computer Network
part of the serviced office package you get free and full access to our internet connection which has the following benefits:
- Full access to and use of our super fast 100 Mbps Internet connection, which allows external email at the same speed of internal email on most networks.
- Ability to download a 1Gb file in 1 ½ minutes and an uptime of around 99.95%
- Your own Public IP Address.
- High quality Cisco Firewalls to keep your network safe from unwanted visitors and spam.
- Each company is provided with its own secure VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) which you connect to via the back of your phone
- Additional Extras include:
- Remote or travelling user and remote office connection with a secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) that route into your network (VLAN).
We can also provide a more public IP Address if required. We can publish your company mail server or webserver to the internet so that the outside world can access them. All of this is done by our in house IT team so any requirement can be discussed by people who know their HTTP from their SMTP and how to set it all up.
Comms Room
The Tannery boasts a fully equipped, climate controlled comms room in which you can locate your own servers, switches and any other equipment that you will need to put into a comms room. Rack space is available to rent on a per u basis.
